All of our patterns have a double tongue-and-groove. These are the tongues, these are the grooves. On the D-style log -- you can't see it here; you would almost have to have a magnifying glass -- we put this little detail and have since the earliest days. We call this a positive-grip lip. That forces the water, as rain is blowing against the side of the house, it forces the water running down that log to drip to the face of the log below it, rather than to try to seep into that join right there. A critical, little detail but an easy detail to incorporate into our profile, and that's been one of our stock things for 28 years in this business, and one of the things that's key to our products working for the long term.
